ReplyDeleteA Raw food diet doesn't always equal 100% healthy, so...
If you are eating a varied raw diet, packed with super nutritious fresh green and cleansing foods already, then my answer is- No.
If however your diet consists of mainly heavy nutty dehydrated and mainly sweet foods, then my answer is- Yes Absolutely

That's where I met Tanya Alekseeva - she had an incredible Winter Feast recipe class in Autumn of 2010. I knew immediately that she was an expert and that she added a bit of magic to her creations. ReplyDeleteI was so taken with her raw food "style" that I decided to try her detox - it's available on her site and is called Purified. My husband wanted to do it too AFTER reading the recipes. The detox is not about taking stuff out so not at all like fasting. This is normal food, lots of it, combined with Tanya's creative magic. The detox is a 7 day plan and she has a budget and a luxury option. We chose recipes from both to make our own combination. We looked like a bunch of hotties after it! ;o) It was so fun that we've carried on making most of the dishes while adding in some foods not on the detox and reducing the garlic a bit at the request of our friends.
I have totally evolved as an amateur raw food chef thanks due completely to Tanya
